Restoration Should Be Within Reach
The Beauty on Purpose Project expands access to restorative tattooing for eligible people affected by cancer, surgery, or trauma. Through donated services and community partnerships, the project helps survivors pursue care that may support confidence, identity, and a sense of closure.
A Mission Rooted in Lived Experience
Nancy created Beauty on Purpose as a nurse, artist, survivor, and advocate. She understands that the emotional needs that follow treatment are real, even when they are not always visible or fully covered. The project offers care without judgment and honors each person’s right to choose what healing looks like for them.
How the Project Helps
· Donated or reduced-cost restorative tattoo services for selected applicants.
· Education about 3D areola tattooing, scar options, healing, and aftercare.
· Partnerships with healthcare providers, survivor organizations, and community sponsors.
· Events that create connection, visibility, and support for survivors, previvors, and thrivers.
