3D Areola Restorative Tattoo
A 3D areola tattoo uses layered pigment, highlights, and shadows to create the appearance of a natural nipple-areola complex on flat or reconstructed breast tissue. It may be chosen after mastectomy, breast reconstruction, nipple reconstruction, or other breast surgery.
During your consultation, Nancy evaluates healing, scar maturity, skin condition, symmetry, and your personal preferences. Color, size, placement, and detail are designed specifically for your body. One or more follow-up sessions may be needed as pigment settles.
As a breast cancer survivor, Nancy understands that this step can carry significant emotion. You will have time, privacy, and control throughout the process.
Scar Camouflage
Scar camouflage uses custom-blended skin-tone pigments to reduce contrast between a healed scar and the surrounding skin. It may be considered for selected surgical, injury, or burn scars that are flat, stable, and mature.
Raised, indented, red, dark, or actively changing scars may require additional healing or another treatment approach before pigment can be considered. Results vary, and perfect concealment cannot be guaranteed.
Stretch Mark Camouflage
Stretch mark camouflage places pigment within eligible, stable stretch marks to help them blend more closely with nearby skin. Common treatment areas include the abdomen, hips, thighs, and other areas where the marks are lighter than the surrounding skin.
Suitability depends on color, texture, age of the stretch marks, skin tone, and tanning habits. A consultation is required.

Insurance and Financing

Medical Clearance and Eligibility
Medical tattooing is performed only after adequate healing. Nancy may request written clearance from your surgeon, oncologist, or other treating clinician. Treatment may need to be postponed during active cancer treatment, infection, antibiotic use, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or other conditions that affect healing.
